We appreciate your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below, we provide detailed information about how we handle your data.
1. Access data and hosting
1.1 Access data
You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a webpage is accessed, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider.
This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring smooth operation and improving our services. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
1.2 Hosting
The hosting and display of this website are partly handled by external service providers as part of commissioned data processing. Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, all access data and data collected via forms on the website are processed on their servers.
1.3 Content Delivery Network (CDN)
To reduce loading times, we use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) for some content. Content (e.g., large media files) is delivered via servers of external service providers. These providers process access data as part of a data processing agreement. Cooperation with service providers outside the EU is based on standard data protection clauses issued by the European Commission.
2. Data processing for contract fulfillment and contacting customers
2.1 Contract processing
We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us in connection with your order or when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Required fields are marked accordingly.
The processing is carried out for the performance of the contract or for processing your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.
After complete contract fulfillment, the data will be restricted and deleted after the expiry of statutory retention periods, unless further consent or legal basis exists.
2.2 Making contact
As part of our customer communication, we process data that you voluntarily provide. This data is used exclusively to process your request. Once your request has been fully processed, the data will be deleted unless you have consented to further use.
3. Data processing for shipping processing
To fulfill the contract, we will pass on your data to the shipping service provider commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for delivery (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR).
4. Data processing for payment processing
4.1 Transaction processing
Depending on the payment method chosen, we will forward the necessary data to our technical service providers, credit institutions, or payment service providers. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
In some cases, payment service providers also collect the data themselves (e.g., via their own websites or interfaces). In this case, the data privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.
4.2 Fraud Prevention & Optimization
In addition, further data may be processed for the purposes of fraud prevention and process optimization. This is done on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
